We are delighted to announce that Living Hospitality Japan, sister brand of Mosimann’s – one of the world’s most prestigious private dining clubs, has been appointed the official caterer for the Swiss, Kuwaiti, United States, and UK Pavilions at Expo 2025! Taking place in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025, this global event is expected to welcome 28 million visitors from around the world. With the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” Expo 2025 will showcase innovative technologies and ideas aimed at shaping a better future.

At Expo 2025, Living Hospitality Japan will provide comprehensive food and beverage solutions across multiple pavilions, introducing creative dining concepts and cultural fusions that highlight the best of global cuisine.

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team from April 1, 2025, to October 17, 2025. Available Positions

Front of House

  • Assist superiors in preparing the restaurant, bar, or event spaces, including mise-en-place, cleaning, linen preparation, silver polishing, table setup, and other pre-service tasks.
  • Perform all front-of-house duties, including explaining the menu to guests, serving dishes, clearing plates, wine and beverage service, bread service, barista tasks, and coordinating with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to learn menu ingredients, food preparation techniques, and special dietary requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining operational consistency and high personal appearance and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.
  • Be customer-oriented by providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere while remaining professional, respectful, and attentive to guest needs.
  • Monitor and comply with health, safety regulations, and security procedures, reporting risks to the General Manager.
  • Receive training in wine service, stock control, and be adaptable to take on additional responsibilities aligned with FOH duties.
  • Work according to a rota/shift system as outlined by Front of House management.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Front of House management, demonstrating adaptability.

Kitchen Staff

  • Assist kitchen supervisors in food preparation and handling goods in a designated section of the kitchen.
  • Support the preparation of mise-en-place to ensure efficient service.
  • Help maintain consistency in food production levels to meet the needs of the restaurant and events.
  • Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and careful handling of kitchen equipment.
  • Assist supervisors in carrying out their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with government and company policies.
  • Ensure all food quality standards comply with government and company regulations.
  • Work according to a rota/shift system as assigned by kitchen management.
  • Follow proper food storage and waste disposal practices to minimize waste and support sustainability efforts.
  • Be adaptable to take on additional responsibilities aligned with the role of kitchen staff, even if not explicitly stated in the job description.

Kitchen Porter

  • Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware.
  • Maintain and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff by fetching ingredients, unloading deliveries, and efficiently disposing of waste.
  • Properly operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Organize and manage kitchen supplies and storage areas to support workflow efficiency.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Support basic food preparation tasks as needed to assist the kitchen team.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and productive workspace.
  • Be adaptable to take on additional responsibilities aligned with the role of kitchen staff, even if not explicitly stated in the job description.
